What To Expect With Your Eye Surgery
1. REFERRAL FROM YOUR EYE DOCTOR
Your own optometrist, who will remain your primary eye care professional, will refer you to our clinic. We work closely with optometrists from throughout the region to offer a full range of vision care.
2. PRE-SURGERY VISIT
Your first appointment at Lifestyle Eye Center will be with one of our staff, who will conduct the necessary tests and perform an assessment in preparation for your meeting with the surgeon. Dr. Giebel has performed more than 20,000 surgeries, and brings extensive training and experience to his patients.
3. SURGERY LOCATIONS
For the convenience of our patients, we operate in a comfortable surgical suite in our Hermiston office. We also do a quarterly rural outreach to provide surgery in Enterprise, OR.

4. SURGERY
Cataract surgery is a fairly quick and painless procedure.
5. RECOVERY
Complete recovery takes about a month, at which time you can work with your regular optometrist to order new prescription glasses.
6. APPOINTMENT AT LEC
Follow up with your doctor to check on your healing process.
7. HEALTHY EYES
