The best books and cookbooks for a plant-based lifestyle

Dr. Giebel has spent his life learning about and enjoying the plant-based lifestyle. He has read and reviewed many books, articles, and movies, and is excited to share his favorites with the patients that he sees at Lifestyle Eye Center. And now you can see the list too!

If you are ready to educate yourself in the subject of a healthy life – here are some amazing resources to check out. Decades of research have lead doctors and scientist to believe that eating a whole-food plant-based diet is the best way to prevent and even reverse disease.

It is also important to learn how to prepare delicious and healthy meals, because food is wonderful! Not only does it fuel our bodies, but it tastes amazing and can be a lot of fun to make and share.

I will list some of my favorite plant-based recipe blogs as well, but there is nothing quite like holding the cookbook and looking through the pages. Dr. Giebel’s wife, Lisa, loves to make notes in her cookbooks to remember the times family and friends shared a meal – what they liked about it, and/or how they would adjust it next time.
